I’m calling this my white Pines desk (and it’s an American Drew desk)because it has painted pine trees on the inside of all three drawers as a continuous landscape scene. I also handpainted each black knob to look like apothecary knobs. The top has an unusual two tone grained top to it. The bottom layer has a flat white.painted finish and then I have applied a white satin finish over the top of that using a graining tool while it was wet. It has three coats of general finishes flat varnish on the top. I have included a touchup kit in the top left drawer that has been sealed in a small Ziploc bag. It has the exact paint number written on it in black magic marker, and the paint comes from Ace Hardware. The chair had a cained back but that was removed and now has a fabric white upholstered back on it with a white upholstered seat to go with the white desk. I then sprayed The fabric with a stain protectant finish so that stains will not get into it easily. My background is from SIUC – Carbondale Illinois in interior design. I also took art classes from 40 different professional artists in landscapes, florals, seascapes and more who had books available to buy throughout the United States. This desk and chair should easily sell from $400 to $500 at a boutique shop in Saint Charles, Missouri. I have chosen to stick close to my home of Highland Illinois for my sales at Ten Pin Antiques. Many hours have been utilized to complete this beautiful desk and chair. Shipping is available throughout the United States.
